Albion Basin Wildflowers

This shot was taken just as the sun was rising over a sea of wildflowers in the Albion Basin, Alta, Utah, roughly 10,000 feet. In the distance, there’s still some snow left on Devil’s Castle, an evil place that’s not for the faint of heart. For their safety, and to avoid any liability issues, I feel obligated to remind my friends visiting from the East Coast that when they see a double black diamond posted at Alta, and the other places in the Wasatch Mountains, the run will be a bit more challenging than they may be used to, just a bit. 🙂
