Joshua Tree National Park, California
This shot is about texture. Run your hands over these rocks and feel one more day among millions. It’s also about the morning sky, a color that I’d never seen before. Iron blue? I can’t describe it. It’s January in the Mojave, the best time to visit Joshua Tree National Park. It’s a time of preparation for the brutality to come. Joshua Tree rocks!
