This shot was taken mid-winter on the second day after a snowfall, high in the hills above Mueller Park, in Davis County, Utah. Rendered in black and white, for obvious reasons, it was almost too bleak. I was about to chuck it, but I tried putting the winter-gray sky back in the shot (artist’s prerogative). It worked. Anyway, it cheered me up to the extent that I now consider it one of my favorite winter photographs. I hope you like it too.
