The San Rafael Swell is one of the lesser-known, but no less wild and beautiful areas of the massive Colorado Plateau, which includes the Grand Canyon, Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon, Arches, Canyonlands, Capitol Reef, and more. Located in South-Central Utah, the “Swell,” as it is known to locals, encompasses 75 miles of canyons, red rocks, and bluffs that can soar up to 3,000 feet from the desert floor.
